Let's face it, raising kids is a difficult task. With coordinating naps, feedings (often throughout the night), pediatrician appointments, and daycare; child-rearing is a full time job in itself.

Add to the equation lectures, term papers, midterms and finals, not to mention day-to-day assignments, raising an infant becomes even more difficult.

This page was created with the student parent in mind. But why, you may ask, have I created this page?

The reason is simple, like yourselves, I am a parent and a student at the University of Iowa. Often times I have found myself feeling like the only kid on campus who spends more time changing diapers than tailgating; or more late nights in a nursery than in a bar.

The idea with this site is to give fellow student parents a sense of community; a place to share information, stories, and lessons learned so we all may benefit from each other's experience.
